In addition to your regular tithes and offerings, we also have specially designated needs and ministries to give to. Designated giving funds go directly to the ministry in question.
Here are our current designated giving opportunities:
SBPC is at work in the desert of Ethiopia to bring the gospel and community development to a group known simply as "our friends".
Casa de Amistad, Centro de Ensenanza is a non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to fostering education and charecter development of Hispanic children and their families from the North County coastal region of San Diego.
Caring, praying, and serving with compassion, with Jesus as our example, define Deacon's Ministries. The church charges its Deacons to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith.
KidsGames is our annual summer sports themed day camp for kids through 6th grade. It is full of energy with children learning about various compassion projects, biblical principals, and playing sports. We host between 600 and 700 kids during this week.
We have joined hands with the community of Lomas Chimedia in the hillside region of Nuxino, Oaxaca, Mexico. We are working with the local leaders to improve the lives of the people who live in this rural village.
The mission of Reality Changers is to provide inner-city youth from disadvantaged backgrounds with the resources to become first generation college students by supplying academic support, financial assistance, and faith-based leadership training.
Help fund the ongoing theological training of young leaders in our church who will impact the future of the church and the world.
Community Serve Day is an event where we join with our friends and neighbors to do good in our community for the glory of God.
