Baptism Orientation Class
"Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?" (Acts 8.37) Solana Beach Presbyterian Church offers baptism orientations for individuals seeking to be baptized or families desiring a child to be baptized.
Each class will be held quarterly on a Wednesday night on the church campus, with childcare provided. Babies are welcome to join their parents in the seminar. During the gathering, we will look at various questions: What is baptism? What is my responsibility in baptism? What is the responsibility of parents? What is the church's responsibility? What is the difference between infant baptism and dedication? What does baptism symbolize/communicate in our church (and culture)?
Baptism orientations are facilitated by Josh Kerkhoff, Next Generation Pastor. Orientation registration is coordinated through...
Laura Agee, Ministry Assistant for Next Generation, agee@solanapres.org or x 1450.
