Ground breaking on our new expanded Preschool is scheduled one week from now on Feb. 19, 9:40 to 10:00 am. We'll end the 8:45 service early and join together on the corner of San Rodolfo and Stevens. Plenty of parking is available at the Solana Beach Corporate Centre right across the street. Lower campus changes have begun. Senior high school activities have moved into a beautifully remodeled area in lower Debin Hall. The Hispanic Ministry will dedicate their new chapel and meeting areas on March 18 after the 10:30 services. With utility and infrastructure improvements finished and planter areas landscaped, the adjacent parking lot will be restored to full use. Completion of Preschool tenant improvements, playground, and lower parking lot is scheduled for Sept., in time to welcome incoming students.
Simultaneously, our architects and technical experts will submit required planning and engineering documents for City review. As a precondition of City permit approval, story poles will be erected to represent the proposed Children's Ministry and Worship Center buildings. The Building Committee is cautiously optimistic that the upper campus building permit will be secured before December 2012.
Join with the Committee in celebrating our permit and construction progress. Pray for his continued patience, wisdom, and leadership.
