MOPS - Mothers Of Preschoolers

MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. MOPS is a positive and supportive program designed to nurture expecting moms through mothers of kindergartners. We are a non-denominational group, but are supported by SBPC in Solana Beach. Our chapter meets two Fridays a month. Our meetings are from 9:00 to 11:30 am.

At our meetings we enjoy a potluck brunch, speakers on many issues, small group discussion and have an art and crafts time. Children from 3 months through Kindergarten are cared for in the MOPPETS program.

The Fall semester begins in September and runs through the mid-December. The Spring session begins in January and runs through May. New members are welcome to register at any time throughout the year; however, child care space is limited.

Serving in MOPPETS

Great intergenerational service opportunity to work with children Birth-Kindergarten, as well as support and come alongside young mothers in the church and surrounding community.  The MOPPETS children's program is happy to have you one time or regularly for Friday morning meetings (twice monthly).  Contact Emily Kates at emilyjoykates@gmail.com for more details.
