These values are based on the overall assessment and impact of our sixty years of history. They were adopted, believing that these eight values, when intentionally infused into the current life and culture of the church, will have a transformational impact. It is acknowledged that most of these values do already exist in various forms and places within the church. It is also believed that none is found consistently in all areas of the church’s life, hence the need for intentional focus.
Celebration: To recognize people and matters of importance with respect, restivity, and rejoicing. We celebrate God's abundant goodness! Psalms 145:7
Gratitude: Thankful appreciation for people and God. We live in Christ and overflow with gratefulness. Colossians 2:6,7
Hope: Believing in God's transforming power and trusting His will to be fulfilled. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. Psalms 33:20
Integrity: Faithfulness to God's plan for living and call to love. We walk before God in honesty of heart and do all that the Lord commands. 1 Kings 9:4
Authenticity: Genuine and congruent character with undisputed credibility. We are trustworthy messengers who refresh the Spirit of God. Proverbs 25:13
Compassion: Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the motivation to relieve it. We clothe ourselves with compassion because we are dearly loved by God. Colossians 3:12
Humility: Clarity that one’s best comes from God and not ourselves. We share Christ’s attitude who made himself human and humbled himself to the point of death on the cross. Philippians 2:5-8
Community: People in the Body of Christ gathering, sharing and participating. We enjoy fellowship as we walk with friends at the house of God. Psalm 55:14
