At the end of each ministry year, we celebrate how God has worked through and in us as a staff, and we cast a new vision for the new year. For the past three years, we have recognized "Mosaic Employees" and "Mosaic Teams" of the Year. Each staff person nominates those who demonstrate our cultural values and teamwork, and who get results that align to our strategic goals. On Tuesday, we recognized the following:
Individuals
Janean Merryman - for the second consecutive year, Janean was recognized. She sees the big picture and works across disciplines and departments. She is able to create new processes or systems that benefit the whole, while having fun and serving.
Christy Ogden - in the new role of data administrator, Christy has brought calm confidence, depth of understanding, and knowledge to other employees. She is constantly training and meeting with others and has improved our ability to manage large volumes of information.
Ted Vaughn - Ted brings his heart and energy to the staff. He's always there beyond worship services, and has such passion for our missional transformation and reaching out to the next generation. He collaborates across ministries and is always creating new ways for us to express or love for Jesus.
Kristy Myers - Kristy has poured herself into KidsGames, yet her professional skills of process excellence have been valued across the entire organization. She and Lori Clarke Balzano partnered to provide a bridge for Billy Jack to transition into our culture. Kristy's stint on the MLT was short, but impactful.
Teams
The Facilities Team - for the third consecutive year, this team was recognized for their exceptional attitude and professionalism. They celebrate together, and are always there to demonstrate their gifts of service. Jose Ramirez continues to provide exceptional direction to this sensational team.
The Worship Planning Team - (Janean Merryman, Dan Bird, Erin Eaves, Mike McClenahan, Kathy Grundy, Lisa Brown, Josh Kerkhoff, Paula Mazza, Doug Peterson, Ted Vaughn). Our All Church Survey said that worship is one of our greatest attributes. This team is a great mix of MLT and Support staff, consistently balancing innovation with weekly planning.
So many employees were recognized and appreciated. As I view these, I'm reminded of what we committed to as a church in December of 2005. The Mosaic called us to build our infrastructure and develop a staff culture that works across silos, aligns to our strategy, and demonstrates our values. These individuals and teams model all of these things and our entire staff recognizes their gifts and efforts.
Please take the time to express your gratitude to them! We are truly blessed.
Sincerely,
Rodney Jackson
Executive Director
