
Chancel Choir
The music of the 10:30 am service
is provided by the Chancel Choir and organist Suzanne Shick. The choir
also performs concerts throughout the year and even made a minstry tour
to eastern Europe in the summer of 2003. This is a called choir
and auditions are not needed. If you would like to be part of this
wonderful ministry experience please send an email to Dan Bird. Regular rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary.
Worship Team
The contemporary worship team
provides the music at the 8:45 am and 5:45 pm Sunday services. If you
are interested in becoming a band member or vocalist on this dynamic
team, please send an email to Ted Vaughn for more information.
Bells of Praise
The Bells of Praise is a
handbell choir for adults. They play at various concerts through the
year as well as helping to lead worship on Sunday services
periodically. If you would like to be part of this great team please
send an email to Dan Bird.
The Student Ensemble (ages 11-18)
The
Student Ensemble meets Sundays at 11:45 AM in the sanctuary. Rehearsals
are appoximately one hour. The Student Ensemble sings several times in
year in Sunday worship services, as well as performing in the Many
Moods of Christmas Concert and other special events. For more

Children's Choirs (4 yrs-5th grade)
- The Kids of the Kingdom (4 yrs-1st grade)
- The Covenant Choir (2nd-5th grade)
- Rehearsals are on Wednesday afternoons
during the school year in Debin Hall. The Kids of the Kingdom meet
from 4:30 to 5:15 and The Covenant Choir meets from 6:00 to 6:45.
This
year a family (pre-planned) potluck dinner will be served between
rehearsals from 5:15-6:00 pm for those that have children in both
choirs and would like to participate. This dinner option is also for
choir families that are coming to the church for evening programs such
as Quest and small groups.
Performances throughout the year include:
- Singing in Worship Services TBA (several times in fall and spring)
- Singing for the Many Moods of Christmas Concert with full orchestra the first weekend in December. (See the events calendar for dates and times)
- Singing at local retirement homes (several time a year)
