How did you come to your idea? Instead of a garage sale at one of our homes, a young e-bay proficient, work at home mother was delighted to help us sell donated goods online.

How did you “invest” the $100? We collected various household items from ourselves as well as from friends and neighbors. The woman who sold the items on e-bay was given a percentage of what she sold. Approximately $1300 was collected through online sales and monetary donations. In addition to supporting this young mother, the money (after the fees were deducted) was divided and given to two charities. Both Stand up for Kids and Hope without Boundaries received approximately $550 each.

Beneficiary(s): Stand up for Kids – an Oceanside based youth program. Our funds were specifically designated for their summer camp program. Hope without Boundaries – supports the work of Greg & Kathy Sarcoff in various Tijuana ministries.
