Description of your project: Loaned $200 to an organization called Kiva(www.kiva.com). Kiva makes micro loans to persons in third world countries in order to help them begin small businesses.
How did you “invest” the $100? We matched the $100 and loaned the $200 to Kiva. It will be repaid.
Beneficiary(s): Women in Uganda through loan from Kiva.
Outcomes to date: Payments have been made on the loans but they haven’t been repaid yet.
Stewardship Lessons learned: We want to make money grow for the kingdom.
Would you invest your money in this way again? Yes. We have already made a second loan of $100 through this group (mentioned above).
