The group created a web link to the SBPC website that will allow people to make donations for a variety of occasions. Recipients being honored will receive an email or note advising them a donation has been made in their name, either generally or to a specific ministry. This thoughtful act could be in lieu of a birthday or anniversary gift, a memorial, or any other special occasion.
The idea was suggested by one of the group members who determined a need for such a vehicle and the $100 began the web site preparation. The beneficiaries from this new giving source will be numerous.
The group is working with the Alternative Christmas Market Team and the Missions Department.
