SBPC Women’s Connection provides pathways for women to connect in meaningful
relationships, grow and nurture their faith, serve within the church and beyond, and to
impact unchurched women by inviting them to follow Christ.
We invite you to find a place to connect and grow.
Paula and Courtney
Women’s Sermon-Based Small Groups are our primary path to connecting:
Our desire is to connect women into a small group environment to be encouraged,
equipped and challenged to grow in Christ. In the midst of community, under the
guidance of God’s Word, we can pass on to others what God has taught us.

Women’s Events
Women's Day Retreat - Saturday, April 19, 2008!
Here is what a few women said about this event last year…
“You may never know the miracles that took place in the sanctuary today – but praise God you created
the space and impetus for them to happen!”
“I like that there are so many women of different ages. It gives perspective and also makes it evident that
we all have similar struggles and joys.”
“These day events are just right – not big financial or time commitment. I met new people and was
encouraged to see so many women desiring God.”
Joins us this year with speaker, Sally Breedlove, author of Choosing Rest. Set aside this day to
nurture your relationship with God and to connect with other women. We are very excited about
this wonderful opportunity for all the women of our church to be nurtured in their faith, reach out
beyond our church walls, and have a place to invite our female friends and family to experience
God’s love. Come worship, reflect, and enjoy fellowship with women of all generations seeking
to live a life with balance and wholeness.
CBS - Community Bible Study
CBS is a friendly place for beginners to explore Bible Study, as well as a place to
deepen your knowledge of God and His word. The learning experience includes home
study, small discussion groups, inspirational lecture, and insightful commentary.
We are beginning a new year with a study of New Testament pastoral letters and epistles,
including 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, 2 and 3 John, and Jude. Come join us, ladies,
and bring a friend. We meet Thursday's, 10-12 in Debin Hall. CBS has a complete children's
program, including nursery, preschool, and home school program for grades 1-12.
For more information, email Kim Carlson at carlsons@roadrunner.com or phone 858-481-8155.
MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
We are a non-denominational group, but are supported by SBPC in Solana Beach.
Our chapter meets two Fridays per month. Our meetings are from 9:00 to 11:30am.
For more information visit the MOPS page.
Outside Events
We encourage you to gather together a group of women to attend one of these local options for women:

looking for a fun and uplifting getaway with the ‘the girls,’ Beth Moore's Living Proof Live is the
