  • programs for children/youth
  • infant care
  • renewal and relaxation

Topic/Speaker:

Whatever life stage you may find yourself in, one common reality is that successful relationships are determined by our attitude.  If you have an interest in better navigating the relationships in your life, you'll want to be at this year's All Church Retreat.  Jim Burns, a parenting, family, and relationship expert, will be revealing insights about relationships as our retreat speaker.

Jim Burns, (PhD) is a three-time Gold Medallion Award-winning author, president of HomeWord, and host of the HomeWord with Jim Burns radio program.  The author of resources such as Confident Parenting and Creating an Intimate Marriage, Jim has been providing assistance and inspiration to parents, youth workers, churches, and students in the United States and around the world for over 20 years.

Jim Burns was a guest preacher in SBPC's worship services on September 7, 2008.  To watch the video of his message, "The Power of Being There", click here.

Children's Activities

Once again, the All Church Retreat will offer an energetic and engaging children's program.  Children will also have their own band led by Terry Kohlenberg.  Billy Jack Blankenship (Assoc.
