Women's Day Retreat Our theme this year is Choosing Rest. We will be inspired, encouraged and learn how to find that inner rest. Discover the tools to help you cultivate your soul so that you can live in the rest God wants for you – for today, tomorrow, for life.
Our speaker is Sally Breedlove, author of Choosing Rest: Cultivating a Sunday Heart in a Monday World. Sally and her husband Steve have spent their life together pastoring churches and encouraging leaders in the United States, Canada, and abroad. As a writer, speaker, and poet, Sally’s passion is to help awaken in others the heart-courage to discover the life changing mercy and love of God for themselves. They have 5 children, 3 of whom are married, and 3 grandchildren. Sally and Steve now make their home in Chapel Hill, NC.

Choosing Rest for Life “Anyone who has faced demanding schedules, torn relationships, or bitter disappointments knows that the call to rest in the midst of it all seems impossible. We struggle through our days, hoping just to survive, believing rest cannot be ours until we have more time or easier circumstances. But the Bible promises that rest is available now.”
“Finding uninterrupted time with friends of the heart—time when we can enter holy space with God—is essential for the kind of deep, searching human relationships we crave.”
